Animoto (Educators' Free Accounts)
Create high interest videos using digital photos, text, and music.

Google Docs
A gmail account allows you to create all sorts of files (documents, spreadsheets, presentations, forms/surveys, calendars, websites and more) that get stored on the "Cloud" (Google's servers). Google Docs make it extremely easy to collaborate on different types of files.

Jing
Easily capture parts of a screen (digital screenshots) and/or capture video of your mouse's movements. A great site to use when putting together how-to presentations.

LibGuides
These are free to you! The subscription for the school comes out of the library's budget (but it's very reasonable for this amazing tool). Ask Valerie to create an account for you. You'll become a LibGuide librarian. Everyone will receive training on LibGuides before the next school year begins.

Microsoft Photo Story
Remember Amanda and Nicole's Photo Story of the Kindies' science curriculum?

MuseumBox
Rumsey already has an account set up. Contact Valerie if you'd like an account or you'd like your students to get accounts. NOTE: Museum Box is working out some kinks; spend some time with it first to make sure it is running well. Upgrades are scheduled for the end of May 2011.

Prezi
Tired of the same old PowerPoints, then try Prezi.

Quizlet
"Quizlet is the largest flash cards and study games website with over 5 million free sets of flashcards covering every possible subject. It's the best place to play educational games, memorize vocabulary and study online."

Scratch
This free download from MIT allows you to "create and share your own interactive stories, games, music, and art."

Smart Exchange
"Find Lesson Plans for Your SMART Board and Connect with Teachers"

Tagxedo
" turns words -- famous speeches, news articles, slogans and themes, even your love letters -- into a visually stunning word cloud, words individually sized appropriately to highlight the frequencies of occurrence within the body of text."

Wordle
Create "Word Clouds" with your text.
